Future Creatives

Revolutionising The Creative Industries

Empowering Creators and Fans to Shape the Future of  Entertainment, Culture & The Arts

Future Creatives aims to decentralise the subsidised creative industries  to make it more sustainable, dynamic and equitable.

Imagine Kickstarter and Patreon meeting Upwork and LinkedIn on the blockchain

The antiquated investment, distribution and funding systems that has plagued the industries for the last 30+ years. They restrict sustainability and independence because decisions are centralised, inequitable and cannot respond to the rapidly evolving world of creative excellence, ambition and exclusive experiences that are in high demand.

Only 30% or less, creative ideas in the subsidised sector get funded because of:

  • Old guard and industry gatekeepers centralising funding and distribution decisions
  • Risk averse and wounded creators, venues and organisations waiting to be saved
  • Genius creative ideas not given seed growth incubation

Successful projects often find themselves struggling to continue to survive once the funding runs out. Artists that don’t receive subsidy often give up on their ideas because they don’t know where else to turn and those genius ideas that could get support, get buried.

This means there’s a ton of brilliant ideas that get left on the table that are principled and purpose driven. They are perfect for impact investment but lack the amplification to reach a wider audience.

It is simple yet effective. A fan and audience driven, decentralised ecosystem using:

  • Crowd Commissioning
  • Fractional ownership
  • Quadratic Funding

How?

Removing gatekeepers by connecting artists and creative producers to fans and supporters to develop validated experiences that get rewarded. This is similar to patronage.

Tokenisation is like issuing shares in your project and  you decide the financial or experiential perks that are tied to them. It democratises how creators can fund their projects by enabling fellow artists, audiences and fans to jointly own creative Real World Assets (RWA) and Real World Experiences. (RWE)

Part owning productions to creative real estate (venues/galleries) allows the creative community to co-create with purpose and own the creative value chain.

Bringing artists, fans and supporters together so that we can build a decentralised funding, distribution and validation ecosystem for use in the physical world and Metaverses

Some User Examples

The community come together and tokenise the ownership of a venue, allowing supporters to participate in its growth.

Revenue shares from  crowd commissioned events and metaverse distribution are shared by token holders and the venue.

Tory Lanez became the fastest selling platinum artists of all time. It took him 57 seconds because he sold his album for $1 and a million people bought it in 57 seconds.

You probably didn’t  know that, because the industry doesn’t want you to know that the true power is with the artists and their fans.

Nas did it too, why can’t we?

In fact why isn’t everyone doing it and still complaining about Spotify?

An empty high street property is needed for a immersive gallery experience, it receives thousands of micro contributions from the community via quadratic funding.

Institutional and supporter backing multiplies the funds raised because there is evidence of the demand and social need.

Because the campaign came from a Future Creatives community member it rallies stakeholders from our database to amplify the project and make it sustainable.

This allows the gallery to curate more ambitious and audience driven projects that serve the community and beyond.

This enables ‘not for profit’ events to succeed.
